Gregory Kahn Melitonov


Gregory Kahn Melitonov is an architect, educator, and founder of the design practice Taller KEN (@tallerkenstudio), and an Assistant Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

His research and practice focus on community engagement and design-build projects, often working with underserved urban communities in Central America. He is a recipient of the MacDowell Fellowship in Architecture, the New York New Practices Award from the American Institute of Architects, and the Architectural League Prize.

As the grandson of Louis I. Kahn, Gregory manages the family collection, comprising several hundred of Kahn’s architectural and personal drawings, correspondence, photographs, notebooks, and other ephemera documenting both his work and life.
